Jean Aldona (Rudzinskas) Clagg

Jean Aldona Clagg, 80, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Brickyard Healthcare- Terrace Care Center.  
   
Jean was born in Lithuania, on September 27, 1942 to Joseph and Elena (Elsteris) Rudzinskas.  She married Don Clagg in January 1961.

Surviving Jean are her daughter, Aldona "Cris" C. Clagg of La Porte; sisters, Ann Ziegler and Donna Hathcock, both of La Porte; brother, Joseph (Mary Ann) Rudzinskas of Savannah, GA; 7 nieces and nephews, which includes beloved niece and Goddaughter, Jeni McGuire.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Clagg on February 11, 1994; and husband Don Clagg on March 7, 2023.

Jean was a Certified Nurse Assistant for 30 years between Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL and Jordans Nursing Home in Bridgman, MI.  She was a member of Christ Church.  Jean loved birds, animals, and being with her family,  but her greatest love was Jesus.  

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Peter Bailey officiating. 

A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.  Inurnment will take place at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin, IL at a later date.
